Koi are found in my region Niigata in 19th century. Koi are considered as moving jewellery and they are a typical feature in a traditional Japanese garden. The koi shown here are the most popular types , Kohaku, Taisho Sansyoku, Showa Sansyoku. The best Koi features are size, shape, colour and pattern, which are shown here.

Snow camélia is the flower of my home town Niigata prefecture.
They flowers under the snow. It is also sign of arrival of spring after long snowy winter.
